The client requested an upscale logo for an organic perfume line that would sell at a higher price point. Clean, sophisticated, one color.
Cowgirl chic with attitude. This t-shirt logo was designed to be worn at a private Country Western-themed Event.
This Australian plumbing group wanted a cartoon friendly logo featuring primary colors and typical Aussie elements.
The client, a party planner and event coordinator, wanted a mid-century modern logo in the SHAG style.
This children's foundation wanted a logo friendly in style, but not childish, with a hand and heart incorporated within.
A pet supply store in Jack London Square, Northern California, wanted a Jack London theme of pets howling at the moon.
The client wanted a clean, corporate logo with modern, sans serif font and a bold icon that can be used independently.
This concept was one of many submitted to a manufacturer of children's bath products. Although it wasn't chosen, it remains a personal favorite.
The only direction for this logo was 'Show me the glory of The Tow Guy'. Sometimes I get the fun ones!

MY LOGO DESIGN TENETS
Although designers are not often fully placed in the pilot's seat, these are the basics I tend to stick to when designing a logo:
• Keep it simple or make it iconic.
• Use vector (Illustrator) format for clean lines and optimal scalability.
• Limit drop shadows and other graphic effects that may not translate well to print or reduction.
• Make sure client stays true to their branding goals. Consistency is key.
• Use fonts that are easy to read when scaled down.
